MAGNUS 5.1 STANDALONE VERSIONMAGNUS 5.1 is now available as a standalone software. This allows you to install and run MAGNUS Business Simulation on your local network, without having to log-in to DecisionWare's server. This gives you full control over the administration of the software and its database. DownloadYou may download the MAGNUS installation package here. Please read the instructions contained in the package for information on installing and running the software. RequirementsThis MAGNUS installer package that can be downloaded requires Windows XP and approximately 300 MB for all the required software. There are 2 versions of the installer - MAGNUS Full and MAGNUS. MAGNUS Full contains Apache HTTP Server, Java Runtime Environment, Apache Tomcat, PHP and MySQL Server - All required for MAGNUS 5.1 to run properly. If you are not sure whether you have any of the required software, please use MAGNUS Full installation file. MAGNUS 5.1 is a multi-player online business simulation. The software will be installed onto your PC, and you will have to configure your network environment to allow other players to access MAGNUS on your server. Please contact your network administrator for the configuration of your server. MAGNUS 5.1 can also run on a UNIX/LINUX environment. However, you have to install the files manually. Please contact us at enquiry@decisionwaresim.com for the manual installation files. Copy ProtectionMAGNUS 5.1 is copy protected to prevent piracy and hacking. You may be able to access the database and web files, but the Simulation Engine is protected with a secure copy protection software. It can only be run with a proper license key. Please follow the instructions found in the installation package on requesting a license key. With the license key, you may run the Simulation Engine and MAGNUS 5.1 proper. Please do not lose this license key. Losing the key will render the software useless and you will have to purchase a new key. The key is non-transferrable, and is locked to each individual computer.
